How good it is that the Furtherwick Park Legacy fund is supporting the installation of the huge Stained Glass Window in St Nicholas Church, Canvey Island. It was in St Nicholas that the final Service of Thanksgiving for the life and work of Furtherwick Park School was held. A shard of glass will for ever bear the name of Furtherwick Park School. Over a thousand shards together will make up ‘The Tree of Life’ – representing individuals, clubs, groups, families and institutions that make up and have made up the very fabric of our community.
