On the 3rd September 2013 along with Canvey Island Rotary Club  a cheque presentation took place  to Our Lady of Canvey Youth Club. Furtherwick Park Legacy Fund donated towards equipment for the Youth Club and a cheque for Canvey Island Rotary Club for a Storage place for the equipment.  Looking forward to seeing the end project.

Supporting The Golden Eagle Majorettes 21st May 2013




Youngsters from Canvey Island Youth FC have been granted a donation of £680 by the Rotary Club to help them purchase new training equipment. The project was financed using the Furtherwick Park Legacy Fund, 21st May 2013

Canvey Rotary Club

On the 31st January 2012 Legacy presented a cheque to the Canvey Rotary Club, joining them in the Dictionaries for Life program. This Rotary project presents every Year 6 pupil on Canvey with a specially printed pictorial Dictionary. The project is warmly welcomed by our Junior Schools as it greatly assists the youngsters with their future education.

ATC AWARD June 2012


The Canvey Island Boys & Girls Football Club receiving “The Furtherwick Park Legacy Award” from Canvey Rotary President Colin Maclean and Furtherwick Park Legacy Chairperson Jan Dunford. As nominated by  Canvey ATC, who along with Cpl H Worrall & Cpl J Skedge founded the award.

A donation to the Canvey Rugby Youth Team

 Megan Rowe & Hannah French returned from their recent visit to Kenya, where they carried out voluntary work for the Original Volunteers Charity within two orphanages.  The trip was partially subsidised by Canvey Rotary Club and Furtherwick Park Legacy Fund. The girls have proved themselves excellent ambassadors for the good name of Furtherwick Park School.”
